Help Flood Victims in South Carolina
South Carolina is reeling from its worst disaster in decades. A massive storm system drenched the state with up to two feet of rain. Thousands of families have lost almost everything they own. This is some of the worst flooding I've ever seen, and authorities are still struggling to cope with the overwhelming devastation.
Samaritan’s Purse has emergency teams on the ground in South Carolina working to help distraught victims in the Name of Jesus Christ. We have deployed our Disaster Relief Units—tractor-trailers loaded with all the tools and supplies needed to clean out mud-soaked houses so people can return home. We are mobilizing an army of volunteers to work in Columbia and other locations as soon as the waters subside. If you or your church can help, sign up to volunteer now.
My heart goes out to those who have lost so much. Please keep these families in your prayers, volunteer if you can, or give to our work as we help and comfort the victims in Jesus' Name.
Thank you, and may God bless you.
